Perry Equipment & Supply: A Legacy of Quality and Vision
Perry Epstein formed his company, Perry Equipment & Supply in 1932 in Philadelphia. An engineer by training, Perry saw the value of used process equipment during the Great Depression. His vision of high quality equipment for a competitive price still drives our company today.
The market maker in used process equipment for the chemical and related industries, Perry started to manufacture new pressure vessels and heat exchangers in the early 1950's. That business is now known as Perry Products Corp. By the start of the 1970's Perry's used equipment division which had originally focussed on chemical process equipment, had expanded into additional industries including plastics, pulp, paper, sugar and pharmaceuticals. With its combination with Videx Machinery in 1998, Perry Videx is now the largest used equipment dealer in the world covering all these industries.
Our first international office was established in England in 1990 as Perry Process Equipment, Ltd. Over the years several other international offices have been established to cater for the global nature of the business and to ensure the highest quality service and the largest range of stock for our customers. We now have offices in Poland, the Czech Republic and France and have agents ready to serve you in many other countries.
