Description

Used Carr Powerfuge P-12 basket centrifuge. Bowl is made of titanium, with a volume of approximately 9 litres. Bowl diameter: ~12 inches (~305 mm). Maximum speed: up to 10,850 rpm, generating centrifugal forces up to 20,000 × g. Bowl material: titanium. Other parts reportedly constructed from 316L stainless steel. Designed for continuous flow two-phase separation of solids and liquids. Common applications: biotechnology & pharma and chemical processing. The system's footprint is approximately 31 inches (78.7 cm) wide, 68 inches (172.7 cm) deep, and 80 inches (203.2 cm) high.
