Description

Used Komline-Sanderson model 8W-512 316L stainless steel twin paddle dryer. Approximate working capacity 3.5 cubic metres (125 cubic feet), product dependent. Trough measures approximately 4,395 mm (14 ft 5 in) long by 1,575 mm (5 ft 2 in) wide. Has external 316 stainless steel jacket rated at 200 psi (13.7 bar) design pressure at 40 °F (4.4 °C) to 450 °F (232 °C). Heat transfer area approximately 136 sq ft (12.6 sq m). Unit has two 316L stainless steel discontinuous heated wedge-shaped paddles rated at 200 psi (13.7 bar) design pressure at 40 °F (4.4 °C) to 450 °F (232 °C). Heat transfer area approximately 376 sq ft (35 sq m). Paddles are driven by a 50 hp, 1,476 rpm, 230/400 volt motor through a gearbox which provides approximately 12 rpm operating speed. Unit is mounted on a mild steel frame.
