Description

Used Automatik/Gala Model Sphero 220.1 underwater pelletising system. Unit is rated for 22,000 lbs per hour, new 2013. 460 volt AC input, 3 phase, 60 hertz.
System consists of the following:
- Hydraulically actuated start-up valve with 11 kW hydraulic pump
- Liquid-heated die plate with Sterlco Model M2B6017-L 100 kW oil heater
- 60 hp 36-knife cutter head with pneumatically adjustable knife shaft
- Cutting chamber with tangential water supply and pellet drain
- Movitec Model VSF 90/4-2B water tempering system with Funke plate-type heat exchanger
- 7.5 hp spin dryer with agglomerate catcher and 1.5 hp blower
- Free-standing control panel
- Support structure for cutter, cutting chamber, hydraulic pump, hydraulic valve and operator controls
