3.2" 38/1 Berstorff Co-Rotating Twin Screw Extrusion Line

Description

Used 81mm Berstorff model ZE75AX38D-UTX co-rotating twin-screw extrusion line, new in 2004. The extrusion line is rated at 700 kg per hour. Previously used for extruding 35% talc/ATH into either PP or PVB. Maximum screw speed is 600 rpm. The line consists of the following:
- 81mm Berstorff co-rotating twin-screw extruder with 38:1 L/D ratio. Driven by a 316 kW motor including operator controls. Includes screen changer, Kryenborg model K-SWE-180/RS screen changer.
- Downstream includes BKG Compact 75/Master 300 underwater pelletising system.
Equipment is no longer installed and is currently in warehouse storage. Operated on PET flakes and HDPE bottle caps after wash line.
