Used Netzsch model MicroCer Type 993-14 superfine grinding system. Manufactured in 2009. Continuous superfine grinding and dispersing of solids in liquids for both batch or multi-pass use. The tank can be tilted from a vertical to a horizontal position. Media is accelerated in the grinding chamber by the agitator shaft. The energy imparted to the media is transferred to the solid particles by collision and deceleration. Product is fed as a suspension and passes several times through the grinding chamber. The agitator has variable speed, the chamber is jacketed, pump system (in blue tower box), stainless steel holding tank 4½″ diameter x 6½″ deep with stirrer mixer, ceramic agitator and ceramic grinding chamber. The grinding chamber is approximately 3½″ diameter x 1″ deep. Controls feature pump on/off, agitator jog button, emergency stop and Siemens programmable controller. The unit’s main motor is 0.94 kW, 230 volts, single phase, 60 hertz, 10 amps.
