Used second-hand Walkers cane shredder with two spiked force-fed rolls. The shredder is powered by a 5000 HP, 7492 rpm Shinn Nippon steam turbine. Model B6-R4-R. Inlet steam pressure: 900 psi at 740°F, exhaust: 15 psi. Governor type: Woodward PG-PL. Speed range: 851–1150 rpm.
The shredder was installed prior to the 82" x 42" mill of the 7200 tpd cane crushing plant.
