Description

Used stainless steel twin screw cooling conveyor by AMF (Apener Maschinenbau und Förderanlagen Gustav Bruns GmbH & Co KG), model HDS 250 x 3500. The machine has two stainless steel screws with a total length of 3500 mm and a working length of about 3000 mm. The screws are driven by an electric motor of 1.1 kW and a reducer. The working rotation speed of the screws is up to 2.7 rpm. Each screw has an internal channel and is connected to a cooling medium. Working pressure inside the shafts is up to 1.5 bar, temperature range from -10 °C up to +30 °C, volume – 2 x 18 litres. The screws operate within a jacketed tank. The width of the tank is 570 mm x length 3500 mm. The tank has a volume of about 430 litres and operates at atmospheric pressure. Temperature range from -10 °C up to 0 °C. The tank has a stainless steel jacket at the bottom and side walls. Volume of the jacket is 40 litres, working pressure up to 1.5 bar, working temperature range from -10 °C up to +30 °C. The top of the tank is equipped with three stainless steel lids, each with a length of 90 cm. The cover under the section where the discharge is located is equipped with an inspection manway with a diameter of 30 cm and a stainless steel round lid. The inlet to the conveyor has dimensions: 30 cm x 55 cm. The outlet has dimensions 28 cm x 30 cm. The machine has a local control panel and is mounted on four wheels.
