Brogtec Model MH-8 8 L Homogenizing Mixer

Description

Used Brogtec (CH) model MH-8 stainless steel homogenising mixer. The mixer has a total volume of the mixing chamber of 10 litres and a working volume of about 8 litres. The tank is raised and lowered manually. It has a bottom discharge outlet and the possibility of discharge by manual tilt. Working pressure range – mixing chamber from vacuum up to 29 PSI (2 bar). Heating jacket up to 43 PSI (3 bar). Working temperature range – mixing chamber from 32 to 250 °F (-1 to 120 °C). Heating jacket – from 89 to 250 °F (31 to 120 °C). The mixer is equipped with an anchor agitator with wall scrapers, a vertical ribbon agitator, and a high-speed homogenising mill. The anchor and ribbon agitators are driven by a gearbox and electric motor 0.3/0.44 kW, 1660/3260 rpm, 460 V, 60 Hz. Working speed of the vertical ribbon agitator is about 124 rpm, working speed of the anchor agitator up to 62 rpm. The high-speed homogenising mill is belt-driven by an electric motor 0.3/0.44 kW, 1660/3260 rpm, 460 V, 60 Hz. Operating speeds range from 2755 up to 5379 rpm. The mixer is equipped with a local vacuum pump and heating device of GMK type Teco 60. The machine has a local control panel.
