1700 Liter Kates ATEX Carbon Steel Paddle Mixer Jacketed

Description

Used carbon steel jacketed paddle-type mixer by Kates (PL), model 2M1.6. Total volume 1700 litres, working volume approximately 1600 litres. The mixing chamber is designed to operate at pressures up to 0.14 bar within a working temperature range of 5 to 40°C. The mixer features a mixing shaft with six paddles and two rods working close to the front walls. The shaft is driven by a 55 kW electric motor, 1483 rpm, Ex design, through a gearbox with a reduction ratio of 72.71, resulting in a working shaft rotation speed of up to 20.39 rpm. The mixing chamber is covered with a carbon steel cooling jacket with a volume of 75 litres. Working pressure on the jacket is up to 0.5 bar at temperatures ranging from 5 to 40°C. The mixer includes a top inspection manway with a bolted lid, diameter 500 mm. Central bottom discharge with a pneumatically operated valve. The mixer is mounted on a carbon steel supporting frame. The machine is certified to operate as Ex II3GcIIA T3 / ATEX. The mixer is equipped with a stainless steel electric control panel. Technical documentation is included.
