Rieter Model Aero 500 Impact Pellet Dryer

Description

Used impact dryer for plastic pellets by Rieter (Germany), model Aero 500, in stainless steel design (material 1.4541, AISI 321). The dryer is equipped with an air blower providing 90 m³/min and driven by an electric motor with a power of 18.5 kW. The dryer has a reported output of 4000 kg/h of outgoing product. Flow rate of water with pellet: 35 m³/h (maximum), 25 m³/h (nominal) and 20 m³/h (minimum). Currently, the machine is fitted with screens with a 1.2 mm mesh. Machine was new in 1997. Shipping dimensions of the dryer: width 1400 mm × length 3830 mm × height 2265 mm. Weight of the machine – 700 kg. The body of the drying chamber is soundproofed. Technical documentation included in German. The machine has been used for processing PP pellets.
