6.6 MW, 6000 Volts, 50 Hz cogeneration plant reportedly manufactured around 2000 and decommissioned in 2010 due to rising gas prices. Approximately 34,300 hours of operation. Main equipment includes:
- Umisa firetube steam boiler, flow rate 20 tonnes/hour, pressure 7-8 bar, temperature 170 degrees Celsius, 15.2 MW burner power, volume 55.1 m³, fuelled by natural gas.
- (2) Ulstein Bergen KVGS-18G3 engines, 18 cylinders with diameter 250 mm, 300 mm stroke, 14.7 dm³ stroke volume per cylinder, 1000 rpm, 4-stroke, turbocharged, cooled by air intake, designed for natural gas. Otto cycle.
- (2) Leroy Somer power generators, 6000 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz, power factor 0.8.
- ABB transformer, ratio 22/6.3 kV, 8000 kVA.
- ABB low voltage transformer, ratio 6/0.4 kV, 630 kVA.
- Water treatment equipment, osmosis process.
- Cooling tower, 4 kW fan power, hot water flow 344 m³/hour.
- Ventilation system.
- Compressed air system including (2) Sperre compressors with working pressure 31 bar, 9.5 kW motor, 1.73 m³/min.
- (2) Termojet air storage tanks, capacity 1 m³ each.
