Unused Bethlehem Company "Porcupine" processor vacuum dryer, model 1P1810JTB. 316L stainless steel 18" diameter x 10' long single agitator shaft, cored and rated 50 psi at 260°F. 304 stainless steel trough, rated for full vacuum at 260°F. Carbon steel jacket on external of trough, rated 50 psi at 260°F. Total heat transfer area 117.6 sq ft. Centre bottom discharge outlet. 15 HP drive motor. DCE Dalamatic insertable filter housing mounted on top. Johnson rotary joint.
Unit equipped with packing glands. Jacket has three 2" pipes, two 1" pipes FITT. Shell has two 1" flanges, five 2" flanges and one 4" flange FITT. 11" stainless steel manually operated butterfly valve and 6" stainless steel manually operated ball discharge valve.
Unit has rotary joint on cord shaft, mounted on steel frame 9" high with 36-tooth sprocket. Drive sprocket is 12-tooth on 31.42 to 1 ratio reducer. Service factor 1.72. Coupled to 15 HP 3-phase 60 cycle 230/460V 1760 rpm XP motor.
