    The aromatization plant, with a capacity of 100.000 to/year, was designed for high processing of gasoline by aromatization. The gasoline, originating from atmospherically distillation and/or coker and thermal cracking unit is further processed in order to obtain gasoline having Research Octane Number (RON) 95. The raw material is heated in a furnace and passes alternatively through three reactors, where in the presence of zeolite based catalyst, the aromatization reactions take place. The effluent is sent towards two fractionation columns and aromatized gasoline, aromatic concentrate, heavy gasoline and gases are obtained. Commissioned in 1997 and operated until 2002.
