Used KUNTZ shape molding plant predominantly used in processing of EPS and EPP for hightech parts like packaging for electronics and automotive parts. Batch capacity- appr.700 kg/hr. New 2008. The factory equipment includes: 1. KURTZ VSD700 pre-expander, batch type, 700 kg/hour; In the pre-expansion process, EPS granulate is filled into the pre-expander. Hot steam - as media- softens the polystyrene beads and activates the blowing agent solved in them. 2. Kuntz K1014 TOP Line shape moulding machine for the processing of expandable polystyrene with: - The steam chamber dimensions - 1000 mm x 1400 mm - Opening stroke - 1500 mm - Max. allowed steam chamber pressure - 3 bars - Number of mouldings on a mould - In the shape moulding machine, the product receives its final shape. The pre-expanded and intermediately stored material is transported into the mould. Hot steam - as medium - plastifies the beads and causes them to expand. The individual beads contact each other directly and fuse to form a moulding part. 3. NO LONGER AVAILABLE - Steam generation plant with water preparation system, 3 tons of steam per hour at 3 bars.
