Description

Used Ravanat Chaudronnerie high-pressure hydrogen heat exchanger, manufactured in 2016. Unit designed for indirect cooling of compressed hydrogen utilizing a separate cooling-fluid circuit. Hydrogen side rated for a maximum allowable pressure of 975 bar with 1,394 bar test pressure; cooling-fluid circuit rated for 16 bar maximum allowable pressure with 23 bar test pressure. Design/service temperature range approximately -50°C to +85°C. Hydrogen circuit constructed of 316L stainless steel with cooling-fluid circuit reportedly constructed of 304L stainless steel. Insulated construction with stainless steel exterior jacketing and multiple process/instrument connections. Originally utilized as part of a high-pressure hydrogen handling/pre-cooling system.
