Description

Very little used molecular/short path distillation pilot plant by UIC GmbH (DE) model KD10. Designed for gentle and continuous processing of thermally sensitive materials. The short residence time and high-vacuum operation make it suitable for applications, where thermal stress, product degradation and purity are critical.
Typical applications include:
- pharmaceutical intermediates
- fine chemicals
- nutraceutical ingredients
- botanical extracts
- cosmetic ingredients
- high-value oils,
- lipids flavours and fragrances
Heating surface: 0.1 m2
Feeding rate from 1 to 2 kg/h
Condition: limited pilot trials only, no routine production use. Currently machine stored.
