Used 8" American Kuhne 30:1 L/D vented extruder. Has electrically heated, water cooled barrel. Extruder model #AK800-WK-EXT, Serial #1952, new in 2000. Includes closed loop water cooling system, extruder hopper, and temperature control panel. Extruder is driven by a 600 hp (447 kw) Baumuller AC motor, serial #113072076 and includes an ABB 550 hp rated variable frequency drive motor control, model DA 280 L 23 R 12-5. Serial #2141702255. 1750 RPM, 460 volt, 680 amp, 58.8 herz. Extruder includes Koelmann UNEX 10.23/6/KG gearbox with 27.34/1 ratio and 1.6 service factor, Serial #21055923/2. Previously installed as a primary extruder for polyethylene blow molder. Includes single stage screw. 12 week delivery required for honing and venting of the existing, installed barrel.
