Used Coating Line Consisting of:
65" Rotomec Phantom Axis turret unwind with splicer, regenerative drives, Goldenrod air shafts, and newer pneumatic chucks (3", 6", 10", and 12" core i.d's), drum with nip and dancer position tension control, full speed flying splice (over/under), and Accuweb electric offset pivot edge guide. Magnetek drives. Unwind spare nip roll.
Kroenert 3-roll offset gravure The coating head equipped with 10.5” gravure roll driven by a 15 HP DC motor, 8.25" diameter chrome backing roll driven by a 40 HP DC motor, 10.250" EPDM and urethane transfer roll, and transfer roll to gravure roll nip. Backing roll to transfer roll nip can be floated or set with adjustable stops.
Harris & Bruno enclosed doctor blade with three (3) hopper heads and Magnetek DC drives (480V), forty-five (45) tapered fiberglass sleeves - with a mix of EPDM and Urethane, six (6) ceramic engraved gravure rolls, and one (1) new gravure core with no ceramic. One (1) roll cart on caster wheels, roll storage system. Coater spares: one (1) spare chrome backing roll, spare drive shaft for gravure and transfer rolls, spare belts for all 3 rolls.
UV Doctors UV Curing System for 72" web width, equipped with nitrogen-inserted web light shield, nitrogen supply system with O₂ PPM sensor and control manifold, lamp system with three (3) lamp cassette @ 400 watts per inch for a total of 1200 watts per inch max output, American Fan model AF-15 exhaust extraction blower, closed-loop water recirculation system, and control cabinet with Siemens S7-200 controller. RPC electron beam equipped 3 Megarad @ 1000 FPM, accelerating voltage: 200 KV., operating at 400 - 1000 FPM between 36" - 65" web width.Rotomec Phantom Axis Automatic Turret Rewind for 40" diameter rolls, equipped with Goldenrod air shafts for 6" cores, drum with nip and dancer position tension control, full speed flying splice (over/under), Accuweb electric offset pivot edge guide, able to run minimum gap with or without layon roll.
