Used Megtec/RBD Mayer Rod Coating Line No. 10. 64" wide × 1,200 FPM (381 m/min) coating line for film or paper substrates. Originally installed 1989. Suitable for Mayer rod, gravure, and flexographic coating applications. Maximum roll diameter 46-48". Unwind & Web Handling – RB Douglas custom-built 1,600 mm wide × 155 cm maximum diameter 2-spindle turret unwind stand, splice-on-the-fly station, dual AccuGuide web guide systems. Surface Treatment & Printing – Corona Designs double-sided corona treater; RB Douglas single-color S-wrap flexographic printing station. Coating Systems – RB Douglas Mayer rod coating station, BMB 5-roll gravure coating station for versatile coating chemistries and laydowns. Drying & Conditioning – 62.5' long overhead 3-zone single-pass gas dryer, 4-roll chill roll section, Thermo Electron moisture injection system (1996), secondary moisture injection system with single chill roll. Take-up – RB Douglas 64" wide × 60" maximum diameter 2-spindle turret rewinder. Controls – Megtec integrated control system.
