135" (3.45m) Beloit Headbox

Description

Used 135" (3.42m) Beloit headbox. Fully rebuilt in 1994. Slice controls primary headbox. 2500 fpm (762 mpm) right hand driven. Designed flow rate: 5000 gpm (18921 lpm) or 37 gpm per inch or (147 lpm per 2.54 centimeters). This headbox was built for a total flow out the slice of 40 gpm per inch of slice width, which should give a good operating range of about 4000 to 6700 gallons per minute and had a design structural limit of 1800 fpm. Consistencies for the grades consolidated purchased this headbox for were about .75 to 1.0%. Right hand driven and was making fine and coated papers.
