Used approximately 5500 tpd cane sugar mill, including main following machinery and equipment:
a) Patio, handling and preparation of cane:
1.) 2 scale 100' long with capacity for 100 TM.
2.) 2 tables shank 22' with thread type cranes on rails
3.) driver slatted steel 78".
4.) leveler 40 blades powered by 100 hp electric motor.
5.) mincer helical blades 54 with light ¾" the driver driven at 700 rpm by an electric motor 800 hp with their respective reducer.
6.) shredder with hammers 48, driven at 900 rpm by an electric motor 2000 hp with respective reducer.
7.) conductor rubber band 72" and electromagnet.
8.) (4) 6 rolls mill 37" x 78" Elliot powered turbines 2DYR 1000 hp. Transmissions prepared for 1000 hp. Farval lubrication systems for bearings and Lincoln crown.
9.) intermediate drivers with steel rakes, discharging to chifles Donnelly type.
10.) rotary type filter screen or trommel, BAS Engineering brand, model T65x156, for casting primary juice.
b) Steam generation:
1.) Boiler #1 Bigelow 100,000 pounds of steam per hour at 300 psig and 480°F superheated, with Dennis Detrick type furnaces in order to facilitate start-ups with firewood. The fan has a run armature shaft and can be moved by a turbine 200 hp Worthington and an electric motor. The forced draft fan is driven by an electric motor 100 hp.
2.) Boiler #2 Babcock & Wilcox repowered with engineering HRSG of Mexico, plus a second repowering took place in 2012. Produces 200,000 lbs of steam per hour at 600 psig, 750°F superheated currently operating at 450 psig to supply steam to current turbogenerators. This boiler has an inclined pin-hole type grill. The two forced draft fans are driven by electric motors 150 hp. The induced draft fan, brand Armee-Babcock. It has a capacity of 265,000 cubic feet of air per minute and is driven by a turbine 1000 hp and respective reducer.
3.) Both boilers have wet scrubbers to control emissions to the environment.
4.) Tempering Fischer brand to condition the 250 psi steam turbines requiring mills and several movements in boilers.
c) Power generation and electrical installations:
1.) 2 General Electric turbogenerators backpressure 5,000 kW to 4160V each. These turbines operate nominally 415 psig steam to 715ºF, and 400 psig to 625ºF with vapor pressures of 35 psig and exhaust 10 psig. respectively.
2.) The distribution system of electricity within the factory 4160V is underground. It includes a bus bar with their respective switches (switchgear) and a number of transformers with secondary to 480V, kvas 1,500; (4) 1,000 kvas; (3) located in different seasons.
3.) To complete the connection line is 13,800V has a bank of transformers of 750 kW and Rush.
d) Clarification:
1.) 2 stainless steel eductor sulfation of diluted juice.
2.) 3 primary juice heaters alkalized of 5,543, 2,178, and 2,065 square feet.
3.) 4 secondary heaters alkalizing juice: two of 1,492 square feet and 1,345 square feet two.
4.) 1 SRI clarifiers type
5.) 4 rotary vacuum filters for cachaça brand Dorr Oliver, (2) 8' x 16' feet and (1) 8' x 12'; for a total area of 1,100 square feet filtration. The filter cake is transported via a conductive rubber band 24" wide discharge chute which also receives ashes.
(5) Evaporators
(2) Vacuum Pans
(6) Centrifuges
