Description

Little used APV Pasilac Thermovac 316L polished stainless steel vacuum reactor filter dryer. Has approximately 600mm diameter filter plate with 0.25 square meter filtration area. Body approximately 600mm diameter X 1390mm straight side with 300 litre working capacity and 150 litre cake capacity. Internal rated full vacuum/6 bar design pressure at -20°C/+150°C. Has 316L stainless steel jacket rated full vacuum/6 bar design pressure at -20°C/+150°C. Has (2) 2-blade agitators driven by Common Flender Hydrex HMS345 multiple cylinder rotary hydraulic drive rated 0-170 rpm. Top sidewall scraping agitator used for mixing, reacting, coating and drying plus discharge of dried material when body is inverted or semi-inverted. Maximum rotation 240 degrees from vertical bottom full width angled paddle agitator with 300mm stroke used for smoothing and compacting filter cake plus ploughing out during the discharge phase. Includes Burgmann flushed mechanical seal. Hydraulic power supplied by 30 kW hydraulic power pack. Mounted on frame with controls. New 1988 and commissioned with talcum powder and water but never ran on final product.
