Davis-Standard 6" (152 mm) diameter extruder, 30:1 L/D, Thermatic III, air cooled, non-vented, with DSBM barrier screw, C83. Driven by 500 HP Reliance AC motor with Yaskawa AC drive. Rated capacity approximately 1,700 lb/hr. Equipped with ball and transfer pivot arrangement with track for screw removal.
Davis-Standard EPIC control system with 6 heat/cool zones, 12 heat-only zones, and elapsed time meter.
54" (1,372 mm) wide Allied Dies Inc. die with 6" (152 mm) external deckles per side, 0.001" to 0.040" (0.025 to 1.016 mm) lip opening, die cart, and operator platform.
Mahlo thickness gauging system.
78" (1,981 mm) Davis-Standard XP Express roll stand with three 24" (610 mm) diameter cooling rolls, temperature control unit, 25' (7.62 m) long roll-over conveyor, edge trim assembly, and pull roll assembly.
