Hosokawa Bepex Model BX150 Stainless Steel Low Pressure Extruder

Description

Unused Hosokawa Bepex model BX 150 stainless steel (AISI 316) basket extruder for low-pressure extrusion. Products with a loose structure, large surface area, and good forming properties are produced with this machine. The product consists of a paste with low flow characteristics and low moisture content. The product to be processed is transported through the inlet into the machine. In the product area, there are two rotors which work in opposite directions to each other.
- The upper 2-arm rotor with angled rotor and additional stirrers mixes and conveys the material downwards. The rotor is driven via a gearbox by a 0.55 kW, 60 Hz electric motor, with an adjustable speed from approximately 14 to 139 rpm.
- The lower 3-arm rotor is equipped with curved arms and rotor knives. The product is compressed and forced through a cylindrical screen basket by the lower 3-arm rotor. The diameter of the granules is determined by the perforation diameter in the screen basket. The rotor is driven via a gearbox by a 3.0 kW, 60 Hz electric motor, with an adjustable speed from approximately 15 to 144 rpm.

Includes two extrusion screens of 2 mm diameter by 1.2 mm thickness, switchboard with integrated control panel. Mounted on a stainless steel frame with four wheels.
