Used approximately 10.27 square metre full stainless steel AISI 316L one-way horizontal shell and tube heat exchanger made by LAIP Srl (Italy). Contains approximately 187 stainless steel tubes, each 25.2 mm outside diameter (22.1 mm internal diameter) by 750 mm long, rated for 5 bar pressure at 2 to 158.1 °C, with a total volume of 54 litres. Features a stainless steel shell approximately 484 mm diameter by 700 mm long, rated for 15 bar pressure at 2 to 200.4 °C, with a total volume of 70 litres. Inside the shell are mounted 2 baffles.
