Seitz Orion Model OF100/250 Filter Press

Description

Used stainless steel filter press by Seitz (Germany), type Orion, model OF100/250. The filter press has 42 filter plates with dimensions 1000 mm x 1000 mm, plus 41 frames with a depth of 40 mm and 2 solid end plates. It provides a filtration surface area of 82 m² and a cake volume of 1640 litres. The filter press is opened and closed hydraulically by a piston and hydraulic device powered by a 2.2 kW electric motor. Below the plates, there is a mounted stainless steel collection tank with a central screw conveyor. The press is equipped with a control panel, pipes, two pressure gauges, rubber seals, and a screw-type pump that drives the screw inside the collection tank. The press was last used in beer production.
