Used Airtechno stainless steel fluid bed dryer for continuous operation. The entire system has been rebuilt and was reportedly used for only 3 months since refurbishment. The system consists of:
1. Stainless steel fluid bed dryer. Maximum drying temperature 140°C. Perforated fluid bed measuring approximately 3000 mm long x 1200 mm wide, with perforation holes approximately 1 mm in diameter. Above the fluid bed is a filter mesh which prevents the dried product from escaping. The inlet is equipped with a material breaking section driven through a gearbox by an electric motor rated 0.25 kW, 850 rpm, 50 Hz, and a screw conveyor driven through a gearbox by an electric motor rated 0.55 kW, 940 rpm, 50 Hz. Inside the dryer is an agitator which helps distribute the product; the agitator is driven through a gearbox by an electric motor rated 0.55 kW, 940 rpm, 50 Hz. The dryer is also equipped with an inspection manhole approximately 500 mm in diameter and two sight glasses. Overall dimensions are approximately 3620 mm length x 1720 mm width x 3500 mm height.
2. Hopper with screw discharge. The screw is driven through a gearbox (i = 78.99) by an electric motor rated 0.55 kW, 1375 rpm, 50 Hz – final screw rpm 17. Overall dimensions are approximately 3100 mm length x 2600 mm width x 2120 mm height.
3. Feeding pocket conveyor. The conveyor is approximately 5000 mm long. The belt has pockets measuring approximately 150 mm long x 200 mm wide. The belt is driven through a gearbox (i = 24.55) by an electric motor rated 0.37 kW, 1360 rpm, 50 Hz – final belt rpm 55.
4. Heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is equipped with a Weishaupt model WG30N/1-C gas burner.
5. Ventra model TEG 400 VS pulling blower (V = 1.6 m³/s), belt-driven by an electric motor rated 4 kW, 1440 rpm, 50 Hz.
6. Ventra model TEG 400 VS pushing blower (V = 1.6 m³/s), belt-driven by an electric motor rated 4 kW, 1440 rpm, 50 Hz.
