Used pressure plate (leaf) filter made by Hadtmann (Germany), model MMS 070 automatic. Fine filtration and sterilisation of beer and beverages. Compression is achieved with the aid of an electromechanically operated spindle in a robust vertical filter frame. The beer pump is controlled by simultaneous monitoring of flow rate and pressure. Convenient operation via touchscreen. If necessary, all valves can be pneumatically controlled. Total filtration area approximately 4.75 square metres, filter volume approximately 1.5 HL, number of filter elements 18, filtration rate approximately 70 HL/h.
