Refurbished beet unloading and piling machine (beet piler) manufactured by Kalinovskiy Machine Building Plant (Russia), model 65M2Б3-К.
Beet unloading capacity: 120 tonnes per hour.
This machine is designed for unloading beet from lorries, cleaning beet of soil and leaves, and storing beet in piles up to 7.5 m high by 32 m wide. It has two unloading platforms: the first with a weight capacity of 40 tonnes, the second with a capacity of 20 tonnes.
Required operating staff: 2 men.
Length of the piling conveyor: 15–18 m.
Dimensions of the beet piler: 22 m length (excluding conveyor) x 12.5 m width x 5.5 m height. Weight: 48.5 tonnes.
The beet piler is mechanically driven; a diesel Caterpillar-type tractor is used as the power source. Fuel consumption per tonne of beet: 0.5 litres of diesel.
