Used Perry Products Corporation vertical shell-and-tube heat exchanger, TEMA type 10-72 BEM. Unit is constructed primarily of stainless steel and designed for high-temperature, pressure and vacuum service.
Heat exchanger is equipped with (55) 1" OD x 18 gauge (0.049") x 6' long SA-249 TP304/L stainless steel tubes, arranged on a 1-1/4" triangular tube pitch, providing approximately 87 sq. ft. of heat-transfer surface area. 18500 REV-3 DRAWINGS
Shell and channel are fabricated from SA-312 TP316 stainless steel, with SA-240 304/L dual-certified tubesheets, SA-182 F316 body and nozzle flanges, and SA-403 WP316 heads. 18500 REV-3 DRAWINGS
Rated for 250 PSIG design pressure and full vacuum on both shell and tube sides at 600°F, with a minimum design metal temperature of 0°F. Approximate dimensions are 10-3/4" shell OD x 71-7/8" tubesheet face-to-face, with an overall length of approximately 98-11/16". The exchanger is configured for vertical installation with integral mounting legs/supports.
